That’s what I did — I took them and rested for 3 weeks, then went for an ultrasound: everything was fine with the baby, the cervix returned to normal, the threat passed. I stopped worrying about that HCG and MoM — I’ll check it on the third screening. My advice to you: don’t worry, don’t be nervous. When I saw the sonographer and told him my blood tests showed elevated results, he said: “You know, a mother will always worry; every body reacts differently to the fetus, and if you take every measurement on ultrasound down to the millimeter — nuchal translucency, bones, etc. — you’d see how many unborn babies there would be” ? I said I was even thinking of going to a geneticist and doing amniocentesis or a biopsy.
