Girls, help me out! Ultrasound today said it looks like a girl, but I think something's poking out ? Another doctor says it's probably a boy because the due date is quite big already (15 weeks, 0 days) according to ultrasound and the penis bud should form! Who do you see? Maybe someone who knows ?

Maybe it was the umbilical cord sticking out. We had a gender reveal party, and I didn't want to know the sex beforehand, but on the ultrasound it looked like a penis ? it turned out it was the umbilical cord sticking out, and a girl was born))

At an early stage there's a little bump in both boys and girls; in boys it develops into a penis, and in girls a clitoris. You'll know for sure at 20 weeks.

It's still early. I also went at that stage — they said it looked like a boy, but not for sure. They say that in girls the labia can be swollen and look like a boy. You'll go to the second screening, they'll tell you for sure then. ?

They can somehow tell by the pelvic bone, but only if the sonographer is good?

It's better to wait for the 2nd ultrasound at around 20 weeks to know for sure. I didn't even believe it at the 2nd scan that it was a boy ? — I only became convinced on the 3rd ultrasound at 30 weeks.
