Hello everyone, my daughter often spits up, is this normal? She gained 1 kg in the first month, 1 kg in the second month, and 500 g in the third month. She constantly spits up a little, but not like a fountain. Her frenulum is a bit short, there are some issues with that, but the surgeon said not to cut it, it will stretch. Has anyone else experienced this? She doesn't eat much, my son used to eat longer and more frequently.

The weight gain is normal. And they spit up until they are completely vertical. Once she started sitting up more, it became less frequent. But even at 10 months, there was one time when she lay on her stomach after eating. It's just a characteristic of children's digestion.

The weight is normal; if the spitting up is not like a fountain, that's actually good. If the spit-up is thick like cottage cheese, then weight is being gained. Girls usually eat less than boys.

Sаbirkin 💕 , Yes, mostly things like cottage cheese, she spits up liquid milk when she is laid on her stomach after feeding or when pressure is applied to her stomach🙌🏻
