Good afternoon. Could you tell me at what age your children started to stand up with your help? I mean, when you personally assisted them. Our baby is 6 months old, but when I try to make him stomp or jump, or just to have him support himself, he just tucks his legs in and there's no support at all. Is this normal?

Good day! Every child develops individually, and it's not appropriate to compare their development with that of other children. Your little one might simply not be ready to stand on their feet yet, and that's perfectly normal for their age. Support them in this process, but try not to push too hard. Gradually, they will start showing interest in standing and taking their first steps. It's important to remember that each child develops at their own pace.

It's still early, he hasn't sat down yet, and you're already trying to get him on his feet. When he's ready, he will sit, stand, crawl, and walk, all in stages. Until the brace is ready, there's no need to force it artificially.

You might damage an undeveloped and unprepared spine with such actions. A child should acquire all skills on their own. Primarily, this initiates brain activity. As it functions in their brain, they will start using one skill or another on their own.

At 8 months old. He stood up by himself; I never put him up in any case. He approached the chair, pulled himself up, and stood up on his own.

The orthopedist told us right away at 3 months not to put the baby on their feet at all, not to sit them up, and not to walk holding hands. The child should do it on their own. My older one sat at 8 months and only started walking at 1.6 years. They stood up using support around 8-9 months. But my daughter sat by herself at 6.5 months, touch wood, both sat down confidently right away without falling. And now at 7 months, she already wants to stand, but I don't let her, it's still too early. I'm worried about her spine.

Putting children down is harmful. When their back is strong, they will stand up by themselves.

Do not put them on their feet yet, it's too early. By 8-9 months, the child will start trying to stand on their feet with support. For now, you can seat them with support for a maximum of 5-10 minutes.

My little one didn't start standing up by herself until she was 10 months old, she walks holding on to things. Every child is unique, you shouldn't look at what a child your age should be doing; some do it earlier, some later!
