Topic: second birth. 🤗🌹 So, my first birth was 7 years ago. They used a vacuum at 42 weeks. The second birth was on May 27.... To start with, I was really worried it would be a vacuum again. I went past my due date and called the hospital; they told me to come in to induce labor. I prepared to suffer like the first time — 26 hours — but this time it was faster: 4 hours and that was it. But during labor it turned out my daughter was coming face-first. I didn’t really know what that meant; it was very painful. The doctors realized I wouldn’t be able to deliver her and wanted to do a C-section. And yes, my fear that something was wrong again. The doctor said, “let me squeeze her out for you in 3 pushes.” Again, not understanding the risks — your brain is really fogged at that moment. They cut me, and yes, they squeezed the baby out. At one point I closed my eyes. GIRLS, DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. PAIN OR ANYTHING ELSE. I closed them and heard, “don’t close your eyes.”😓😢 I’ll attach a photo. The birth was difficult but thank God my daughter is fine. “She’s a fighter,” the doctors said. Weight 3900 and length 56 😍 Maybe someone else had babies born face-first. I’d be glad to hear your stories. I realized you need to be prepared to breathe clearly and understand the reality — that labor is a difficult process too. I attached a photo of the eye. And it’s not Photoshop.
