The child has bronchitis, there's wheezing, temperature is not present, there's a wet cough. Yesterday in an ambulance they said to do nebulizations with Pulmicort, they did it today and it got better, but our pediatrician says we should give injections of ceftriaxone with lidocaine. I read that first of all it's very painful injection, second, lidocaine can cause side effects up to shock ? and so I think I will observe and continue doing nebulizations or start injections tomorrow? Has anyone treated ceftriaxone? How healthy are the kids?
