Hi everyone. I'll tell a story — maybe it will be useful to someone and you won't waste your nerves like I did. At the second screening I was told that I have a short cervix (32 mm) and it needed to be monitored. Ten days later my doctor sent me for a repeat ultrasound (cervicometry — I might be mistaken about the exact term). And instead of the usual free appointment she referred me to a paid one, citing poor equipment. I went on time and they wrote 26.6. Before that they had prescribed Utrogestan and magnesium. In the end the dosage turned out to be lower than it should have been. The sonographer called my doctor and she said I needed to be admitted to the hospital. I went to get the referral, but she was already gone and they sent me to another office, where they calmed me down (I was crying and anxious from not knowing), issued the referral but said it wasn't critical and I didn't need to be admitted. They also increased the dosage and sent me for a free repeat ultrasound the NEXT DAY. I had it and they told me I was 32 mm. I left the ultrasound in shock and, asking my doctor how that could be, she answered that it was because of the increased Utrogestan. In the end she directed me to be admitted to the hospital, where they just laughed at me. Girls, be careful. Before you register for care, find out everything about the doctor. And don't worry ahead of time. I understand I wound myself up for nothing, but the thing is I had a missed miscarriage 4 years ago and in this pregnancy I've already been hospitalized twice with a threat, so I worry about everything. And the doctors don't care. Be healthy and take care of your little ones.
