Girls, tell me what you drank in the second trimester? They said it's okay to drink Femibion-2, continue drinking Iodine Life (as I do), calcium is fine, and omega (since I have an allergy to fish).

Hello. If my doctor hasn't prescribed me anything except folic acid, can I buy and take, for example, calcium or Elevit on my own?

Светлана , Ask your doctor. Generally, Elevit won't harm you or your baby; it will only make things better.

Вера , Yes, of course I'll ask when I go to the appointment. I already asked once about a month and a half ago and she was like, "your tests are fine, so nothing is needed for now except folic acid." I feel like my doctor is neglecting me. And she's already quite old ((((((

Светлана , It's just that Elevit contains a lot of vitamins; if your tests are all fine, then of course they won't prescribe vitamins to you to avoid overdosing on them.

At 13 weeks it’s already time to switch to vitamins, folic acid is taken either before pregnancy or up to 6 weeks.

I took Elevit, Yodomarin, magnesium B6, and motherwort. In the 3rd trimester I also added Omegamama to all of that.

I switched to Femibion 2 and found Doctor Iod 5 for myself — a colloidal liquid‑crystalline ORGANIC iodine compound with 5 important trace elements: copper, cobalt, zinc, iron, manganese. I had thyroid problems — autoimmune thyroiditis — and was worried about the pregnancy, but I took it before conception and during early pregnancy, from weeks 8 to 17. I had TSH tests done — everything is normal. Satisfied ?
