Good afternoon, girls, how do you properly switch to a new formula? Our pediatrician says to mix them, but to me, that seems weird.

Do not mix, but gradually introduce; if it's the same brand, you can switch between feedings. We didn't switch from 1 to 2; we didn't like 2 and stayed on 1 until one year, the composition is the same, the only difference is in the calories, and only slightly at that.

We transitioned the baby slowly. Initially, 30 per day, then 30 in the morning and 30 at noon the following day. After that, 60 in the morning and 30 at noon, then 60 in the morning and 60 at noon, and 30 in the evening, and gradually switched from there. But mine was little, only a month old. The first formula didn't suit him. Of course, I didn't mix anything.

Hello. You cannot mix formulas, even from the same manufacturer. It's better to first give a little of the new one (30ml), then finish with the old one. If everything goes well, then increase the dose the next day. We transitioned like this 3 times.
