Hello girls! I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I have thrush. I've tried Hexicon and Natocin suppositories, but it's not going away. Are there any other ways to get rid of it? Some say it doesn't go away during pregnancy. What complications could there be during childbirth? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Try to stick to a diet. I had a terrible one in the last term, no suppositories helped. They only provided temporary relief. The doctor prescribed a pill, but I didn't dare to take it. After giving birth, it immediately went away. There were no complications. The only thing was that I tore. I don't know if it was related.

I was prescribed suppositories, but I also didn't dare to buy them. I washed superficially with a baking soda solution for a couple of days, it helps a bit, but everything went away immediately after giving birth.

Hello! Thrush can indeed be quite an unpleasant and persistent condition, especially during pregnancy. In addition to suppositories, there are other ways to treat thrush that can help you get rid of it. For example, you can try using antibacterial ointments or creams prescribed by your doctor. It is also important to maintain hygiene in intimate areas, wear cotton underwear, and avoid overly tight clothing. Regarding complications during childbirth, thrush during pregnancy can increase the risk of infections in the newborn. Therefore, it is important to consult a doctor in a timely manner and undergo treatment before childbirth. The doctor will be able to prescribe pregnancy-safe medications and help you get rid of thrush. If you have any concerns or questions, it is best to discuss them with your doctor. They can provide you with more detailed information and recommendations for treating thrush during pregnancy. I wish you good luck and good health!
