HOW TO PERFORM WORSHIP AND PRAYERS ON LAYLAT AL-QADR. 1. Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas 100 times. Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. Qul hu wallahu ahadi. Allahus samadi. Lam yalid, wa lam yoolad. Wa lam yakul lahu kufuwan ahadi. The meaning of Surah Al-Ikhlas in Kazakh (translated to English): "Allah is One. Allah is Self-Sufficient (everything depends on Him). He neither begets nor was begotten. And there is none comparable to Him." 2. Surah Al-Qadr – 100 times. Bismillahir rahmanir rahim. Inna anzalnahu fi laylatil qadr. Wa ma adraka ma laylatul qadr. Laylatul qadri khayrum min alfi shahr. Tanazzalul malaikatu war ruhu fiha biidhnir rabbihim min kulli amr. Salamun hiya hatta matla-il fajr. The meaning of Surah Al-Qadr in Kazakh (translated to English) is as follows: "1. Indeed We sent it (the Qur'an) down on the Night of Decree. 2. What can make you know what is the Night of Decree? 3. The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. 4. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. 5. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn." 3. La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur rasulullah – 100 times. Meaning in Kazakh (translated to English): "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is His Messenger." 4. Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh – 100 times. Kazakh meaning (translated to English): "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and Messenger." 5. Astaghfirullah – 500 times. 6. La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir – 100 times. Note: On the Night of Decree, reciting Surah Al-Qadr once is more meritorious than completing the entire Noble Qur'an at other times. Saying "SubhanAllah" once, "Alhamdulillah" once, and "La ilaha illallah" once on Laylat al-Qadr is valued more than 700,000 tasbih, tahmid and tahlil. On this night, praying and worshipping even for a short time (as long as a sheep's fast) is more valuable than worshipping every night of a month until dawn. — Sholpan Dosetova.
