The difficulty is that my husband and I are of mixed heritage. My mom is Kazakh, my dad is Belarusian. My husband’s father is Kazakh, his mother is Tatar. We want a name that’s not too Slavic (for example Vladimir, Ivan) and not too Muslim (Kudaybergen, Talgat). Something in between. And on top of that, all the names I like have already been taken by friends and relatives)))) I was thinking Demid. I don’t want to overdo it, since you have to carry that name your whole life. The patronymic will be Maksimovich. Any other suggestions?
