My mom gave birth at 23 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was quite a chubby child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для рождения ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит заранее переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 23, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
