My mom gave birth at 24. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she was when she gave birth. Can I also expect that the delivery will be smooth?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 24, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
