My mom gave birth at 24 without complications. She never had any problems with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все определяется имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 24, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
