My mother gave birth at 47 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I expect that childbirth will go smoothly too?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее оптимальный возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все определяется конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 47, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
