My mother gave birth at 47 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее бить тревогу, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется индивидуальными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 47, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не паниковать и довериться акушеру.
