My mother gave birth at 54 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively healthy as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What is unexpected: I am in the same age group. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 54, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
