My mom gave birth at 54 years old easily. She had no problems with me growing up, I was a fairly healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's unexpected is that I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 54, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
