My mother gave birth at 55 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I expect that childbirth will go smoothly too?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный период для рождения ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 55, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и здорового образа жизни во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
