My mother gave birth at 55 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be simple?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут возникать среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина беспроблемно родила в 55, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
