My mother gave birth at 55 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a fairly healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm in the same age category as well. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как идеальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все связано с имеющимися особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 55, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
