My mother gave birth at 55 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also count on a smooth delivery?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее подходящий период для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно предварительно переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 55, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
