My mom gave birth at 56 years old easily. She never had any difficulties with me, I was a rather uncoordinated child growing up. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее подходящий период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого термина как наилучший возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут возникать среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все обуславливается имеющимися свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 56, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
