My mother gave birth at 56 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What a surprise: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее лучший период для рождения малыша – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут появляться среди молодых и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 56, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
