My mother gave birth at 56 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's unexpected is that I'm as old as I am. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее подходящий период для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется заранее беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все определяется определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 56, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
