Good morning. Daughter is 8 months old and has had three episodes of diarrhea in the past two weeks. Doctors said it's probably an infection. Yesterday morning she had blood in her stool. I took her to the doctor; they said such cases happen and gave me a prescription for home. After lunch, she went to the bathroom again and everything was fine. This morning she had blood in her stool again. I took her back to the doctor; all tests were normal and we were sent home. Today they diagnosed gastritis. They said this is called gastritis but it happens like in adults, as a kind of inflammatory process. Has anyone experienced something similar?
