Hello moms, please tell me, has anyone had this happen? We're almost 2 months, stool is swamp-colored, with lumps, mucus appeared too, the smell is very unpleasant and the gas smells bad. We were breastfeeding, switched to NAN Triple Comfort formula and the stool suddenly became like this, while the baby feeds well on the formula and sleeps normally after it, during the day sleeps very little until I swaddle them, I'll attach a photo to make it clearer..

A sudden greenish/muddy stool with an unpleasant smell after switching to NAN Triple Comfort in my baby who is almost 2 months old very much looks like the gut reacting to a new formula: with such formulas the stool often becomes greenish, smells stronger, there can be lumps and a little mucus. If my daughter is feeding as usual, not lethargic, no fever, vomiting, blood in the stool, and there are enough wet diapers, this doesn't look like an urgent situation. It's better not to switch the formula back and forth without a pediatrician: the gut usually needs 1–2 weeks to adapt. You should see a doctor in the next few days if the mucus increases a lot, the stool becomes completely watery and frequent, blood appears, the baby feeds worse, urinates little, or is gaining weight poorly. Daytime sleep and swaddling are probably a separate matter: at this age babies often fall asleep more easily when their hands don't wake them.
