Hello! My daughter falls asleep fine, but she wakes up every 30 minutes or every hour with sudden crying. It's like she starts crying quietly in her sleep and then suddenly screams and wakes up. Is this normal? Online, they write that this is how the nervous system develops. I'm a first-time parent and don't really understand. I told the pediatrician, and she advised not to show her cartoons, although I don't show her cartoons at all. I am against them.

No, that's not normal. Maybe you're not holding the wake window. Mine is 6 months, and our wake window is about 2-2.5 hours. 2.5 hours is the maximum. You definitely need to monitor the wake window, and if that's not the issue, then you should see a neurologist.
