Has anyone's baby had bradycardia? Ours is at 87 bpm at 5 months old, but we are taking beta blockers. Please tell me how serious this is, the doctor insists on continuing the beta blockers.

Bradycardia (a reduced heart rate) in infants can be caused by various reasons, including the use of beta-blockers. It is important to discuss this with a doctor to ensure that the medications being taken do not cause serious side effects. If the doctor insists on continuing the use of blockers, it may be necessary to maintain your baby's health. However, it is always better to get a second opinion or additional consultations from specialists to be confident in the decision made.

Very serious consequences, are you in Almaty? If yes, go to the Institute of Pediatrics, or find Rekvava Roin Roinovich. If I were you, I wouldn't rely solely on one person's opinion.
