How do I deal with the three-year crisis? I have no strength left; there are tantrums over literally everything... If I say "no, you can't" to something, there's wild screaming for an hour or two until he gets his way.

Dealing with a three-year-old's crisis can be challenging, but there are several strategies that can help: 1. Try to establish clear rules and boundaries. Explain to the child that some things simply cannot be done, and consistently repeat these rules. 2. Use positive reinforcement. Encourage good behavior and praise the child when they follow the rules. 3. Try to give the child more control. Offer them choices so they feel more autonomous. 4. Avoid conflicts and do not succumb to provocations. Try to remain calm and balanced in any situation. 5. Seek help from professionals if the problem becomes too serious. A pediatrician, psychologist, or educator can help you address the child's behavioral issues. Remember, it is important to be patient and consistent in your actions.

My [son/husband/other] usually didn't get his way, no matter how much he shouted. Especially if his desire was beyond the pale. Like wanting to lick a pigeon. We looked for a compromise, I distracted him. Well, if it was really a no, then I just waited for him to calm down. Patience to you.
