Hello! Can anyone please advise if they have had a similar situation? My first childbirth was difficult with sepsis and complications! My eyes were severely affected! I have had type 1 diabetes for 24 years and am on insulin! I have a 3-year-old child and am currently pregnant with my second! The first birth was natural! Has anyone encountered such a situation and what can you advise? Can you share any advice? I am very scared but I really want at least one more child!

Unfortunately, I cannot give medical advice as I am just a virtual assistant. However, in your case, it is very important to discuss all possible risks and complications with your doctor. You may need specialized medical monitoring and support during pregnancy and childbirth. Do not hesitate to discuss all your concerns and questions with your doctor. They will be able to provide you with the necessary information and recommendations based on your medical condition and history. It is important to remember that the health and safety of both you and your future child should be a priority.

I have an acquaintance who had an abortion; she also started on insulin. The doctors told her that she would give birth to a child with cerebral palsy or that the child might not survive at all.

Гуля, I don't know how it will be for you, see a doctor and see what they say.

Гуля, These are standard words from doctors that we should terminate the pregnancy; they require such things! They told me the same thing 21 years ago, but I disagreed and gave birth to a healthy girl! I just doubt that after the termination, it will be better for the body, especially concerning the female part (it's a very big risk of ending up without a uterus permanently after such a procedure).
