Girls, did anyone have a short cervix with their first period, and also the same with their second? Does it lengthen somehow? I'm really worried that with my second period they will again need to put a ring in.

In my first pregnancy they put a ring in me too; now the gynecologist says we'll monitor me every 10 days and do cervicometry — maybe everything will be okay.

Татьяна , They put a ring on me and it was hell, I couldn't sit or stand, it rubbed me until I had bloody calluses... I spent the whole B. Almost... I don't want the ring.

Екатерина , Which ring did you have? I have a Dr. Arabin and I don't feel it at all... it helped with cervical insufficiency, now my cervix has risen. Maybe last time the doctor inserted it incorrectly or it was plastic?

Екатерина , How awful, I was lucky in that regard — the insertion took a couple of minutes, it was unpleasant of course but tolerable, and I didn't feel it until 37 weeks; then labor started and they removed it, I didn't feel it at all. It most likely depends on the experience of the doctor who will be inserting it.

Татьяна , When they were putting it in they dilated everything and I lost consciousness from the pain... and yet I felt him the whole time... they kept rotating a whole team of doctors, nothing helped until they removed it at 37 weeks... I was just floating afterwards and I ended up giving birth at 42 weeks.

Екатерина , ? of course, plastic is awful... the silicone др.арабин isn't felt at all, and it bends when installed..
