Hello super moms.. my PCV level has been reading 28 for the past one month. I have been taking blood capsules, vegetables and fruits back to back. But the PCV level keeps decreasing. I'm worried. Pls I need advice . A first time mom.

Why not seek your Dr's counsel about it and let him advise you on what to do.

I googled a lot of healthy diet for pregnant women with my 1st and it really helped a lot. But you should also know the types of fish not to consume and consume. I'm anemic myself but very much stabilized and haven't had problems in a longest time, I'm pregnant with my 2nd and my results are good.. so don't stress too much about it, just keep on eating healthy and taking your supplements

Lena, Hi Lena sorry for the late reply. Your pcv shouldn't raise you any cause of alarm, let's not forget the pcv range of a pregnant and non pregnant can never be the same. If your pcv was 35 before you were pregnant, it can drop to 30 when you pregnant. Pcv can drop during pregnancy, pregnant women have lower pcv compared to those non pregnant.. your pcv of 30 is normal and if you have anemia that's considered as mild anemia.. let's keep healthy and eat healthy and stress less about this things, its good to wanna know and keep up with our health..

I too eat lots of vegetables, blood supplement and many more of what I read online but my PCV never increased more than 31 rather it once reduced to 27 and later bounced back to 31. Doctor said I should be consistent with the blood supplement but yet I haven't seen changes. Worry less and eat well dear
