My son is 2.7 years old and we've had his elbow dislocation five times…

My son is 2.7 years old and we've had his elbow dislocation five times already. It started a year ago, last time in spring, and today he played again and dislocated it again. Doctors say that until 5 years old, this is normal and there's nothing you can do about it. Has anyone experienced something like this?
