Girls, has anyone ever experienced eye inflammation after childbirth? I used to have no problems with my eyes. Now they often turn red and itch. I saw an ophthalmologist when there was acute conjunctivitis, she said it's just something that got into my eyes. She prescribed drops that can be taken during breastfeeding, like chlorhexidine, only for the eyes. I drip them occasionally, and don't reach the acute stage. But discomfort is quite frequent. I'm thinking maybe this is related to hormonal changes, childbirth and breastfeeding. Could it be dry eye syndrome? ?
