I had an ultrasound today, everything is fine, the baby is ahead of schedule. Currently 27-28 weeks, although according to my monthly cycle it will be only 26 tomorrow. The doctor is satisfied, but he said that the degree of placental maturity is second. I know that for this term it's much, but the doctor assured me that nobody tracks the degree of maturity yet and if the child develops normally then there is no need to worry. And just give mom a reason to worry. With my first son, the placenta was clearly younger at this term. Have you taken any steps in cases of premature placental aging before?
