My mother had me at 17. She never had any problems with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she was when I was born. Can I also expect a smooth delivery?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родоразрешения детей. Трудности могут появляться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все связано с конкретными особенностями организма. Чтобы женщина успешно родила в 17, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
