My mother gave birth at 17. She had no problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. It's unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих врачей наиболее удачный период для появления ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как наилучший возраст для родоразрешения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в равной степени. Все обуславливается конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 17, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных указаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
