My mom gave birth at 24 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that the delivery will be smooth?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее лучший возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут возникать среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется индивидуальными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 24, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
