My mom gave birth at 31 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively healthy as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I expect that childbirth will go smoothly too?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого понятия как наилучший возраст для родов детей. Трудности могут возникать среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 31, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
