My mom gave birth at 35 without complications. She never had any difficulties with me growing up, I was a pretty healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm carrying a baby in my belly. It's unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that the delivery will be smooth?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не существует такого понятия как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Трудности могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все определяется конкретными особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 35, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
