My mom gave birth at 43 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What's unexpected is that I am also the same age. Can I expect that the delivery will go smoothly too?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не рекомендуется сразу волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого понятия как наилучший возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут возникать среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается конкретными характеристиками организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 43, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться акушеру.
