My mom gave birth at 47 years old easily. She never had any complications with me, I grew up quite painlessly. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный период для рождения ребенка – 20-30 лет. Однако не желательно сразу переживать, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Сложности могут появляться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц практически в идентичной степени. Все связано с конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама успешно родила в 47, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
