My mom gave birth at 49 years old easily. She never had any difficulties with me, I developed into a healthy child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению многих акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный период для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как наилучший возраст для родоразрешения детей. Трудности могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц практически в одинаковой степени. Все обуславливается конкретными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама удачно родила в 49, важно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
