My mother gave birth at 50 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant. What a surprise: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее подходящий возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не стоит сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не существует такого термина как идеальный возраст для рождения детей. Проблемы могут возникать среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все обуславливается определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 50, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных советов и правильного распорядка дня во время беременности ребенка, безотлагательно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться акушеру.
