My mother gave birth at 54 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing: I am as old as she is. Can I also expect that childbirth will be problem-free?

По мнению многих специалистов наиболее удачный возраст для появления ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не стоит предварительно волноваться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как идеальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут появляться среди молодых и зрелых рожениц почти в равной степени. Все связано с индивидуальными характеристиками организма. Чтобы женщина удачно родила в 54, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не паниковать и довериться акушеру.
