My mom gave birth at 56 years old easily. She never had any problems with me, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's unexpected is that I'm in the same age group as my pregnancy. Can I also expect that childbirth will be smooth?

По мнению большинства специалистов наиболее оптимальный возраст для рождения малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно сразу беспокоиться, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Сложности могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в идентичной степени. Все определяется индивидуальными свойствами организма. Чтобы будущая мама беспроблемно родила в 56, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, безотлагательно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родоразрешении не опасаться и довериться специалисту.
