My mother gave birth at 57 years old easily. She had no problems with me, I developed relatively smoothly as a child. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. What's amazing is that I am of the same age. Can I also expect that childbirth will go smoothly?

По мнению большинства акушеров-гинекологов наиболее удачный период для рождения ребенка – от двадцати до тридцати лет. Однако не желательно заранее волноваться, если ваш возраст выходит за эти рамки. На самом деле не бывает такого понятия как оптимальный возраст для родов детей. Проблемы могут развиваться среди юных и зрелых рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все определяется имеющимися особенностями организма. Чтобы будущая мама легко родила в 57, нужно, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных предписаний и здорового образа жизни во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно сдавать необходимые анализы. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться специалисту.
