My mom gave birth at 57 years old easily. She never had any problems during my pregnancy, I grew up quite healthy. Recently, I found out that I'm pregnant. It was unexpected: I'm as old as she is. Can I also expect easy childbirth?

По мнению большинства врачей наиболее подходящий возраст для появления малыша – 20-30 лет. Однако не нужно сразу бить тревогу, если ваш возраст не вписывается в эти рамки. В действительности не бывает такого термина как оптимальный возраст для рождения детей. Осложнения могут развиваться среди юных и в зрелых годах рожениц почти в одинаковой степени. Все обуславливается определенными свойствами организма. Чтобы женщина легко родила в 57, следует, как минимум, придерживаться всех врачебных рекомендаций и правильного распорядка дня во время вынашивания ребенка, своевременно проходить обследования. А при непосредственном родах не бояться и довериться медицинскому персоналу.
